EDIT 3/26/25: After first moving to an undisclosed locations, the senators have apparently postponed to avoid us entirely. There will be more information, but TBD. I will send out a new post with updated information as soon as I have it. Working with Indivisible, Mondays WithOUT McCormick, and Progress PA.
🔥 Make Your Voice Heard! 🔥
Join us for a peaceful protest outside City Winery (1627 Smallman St, Strip District) on March 29th, 12-2 PM.
While democracy is at a breaking point, McCormick and Fetterman are on a book tour instead of meeting with the people they represent. They won’t hold town halls, so we’re bringing the town hall to them.
This isn’t just another roadside protest—this is a rare chance to speak up while they’re right here in Pittsburgh. Let’s show up, stand together, and remind them that their job is to listen to us.
📢 Important Notes:
✅ Stay peaceful accommodate pedestrians. We cannot block traffic.
✅ Parking will be tough—arrive early, carpool, or use public transit.
✅ I am looking for organizers, speakers, and folks with megaphones or music!
Want to get involved? DM me, email ejpostiswriting@gmail.com, or reach out on social (@ejpost IG/Threads/Bluesky, @ejpostiswriting on TikTok).
Let’s make some noise. See you there. ✊
P.S. For anyone interested, I run the Pittsburgh Banned Book Club that will meet on March 23rd at noon @ Velum Fermentation on the southside. This month’s book is The Handmaid’s Tale. We talk about community action (not just the book) so feel free to join.
Love this, I'll try to be there! I'd encourage you to make sure legal observers are there to document any attempts to remove or silence you.
You should update this to reflect this is no longer the location of the event. https://www.mobilize.us/indivisiblepittsburgh/event/766574
